1st grade positions snakes and ladders game - The math topic on positions is also referred to as spatial sense. Positions of objects are often relative to the positions of other objects. In this game, students will develop skills in spatial sense by looking at the position of letters and telling if they are on the right, left or middle. In the following example: R T S, the first letter is on the left, T is in the middles and S is on the right. This lesson is also applicable in many daily activities. For example in a classroom, a student could be in the middle, left or right of other students. This activity can be made more fun by placing students in the various positions mentioned.
