This page is a collection of interactive crocodile games. The crocodile is a predator in nature which kids have read several stories about. In this game the crocodiles are obstacles on the way which kids must avoid. There are bugs on the way that a frog can eat to gain the boost it needs to jump to the next step. This game is based on a board game template. Like most board games, students get to roll a dice and answer questions that pop up. Usually, answering questions correctly will make you to move a number of spaces forward. The number of spaces is known only after rolling the dice. The goal of the moving frog is to arrive the destination safely without being eaten. The questions in each game are simple and focused on a specific skill which children encounter during the course of their study. Grades covered are: kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade and 7th grades.
The crocodile game can be played individually or by a group. Hence it can be played while in the classroom in teams or as an individual exercise for reviewing several math skills.
We have covered a range of math topics as follows: addition, counting, telling time, shapes and geometry, money, subtraction, division, ratios, linear equations, algebra, word problems, logic exercises, Roman and Arabic numerals and more.
Given that these games are always online and free, children can be let to learn on their own. Several trials are accepted until there is a full mastery of a specific skill. For more practice, children can access these games on their tablets or computers while at home. Parents will also find these games great homeschooling materials.
