Multiplication by single digit numbers wheel of fortune game

Multiplication by single digit numbers wheel of fortune game - math game for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th grades.

Terms to note on multiplication.

All numbers that are being multiplied are referred to as FACTORS while the answer is referred to as the PRODUCT.
The FACTORS are the numbers written on top of each other. Normally, the bigger number is usually written on the top, and it’s called the MULTIPLICAND while we have a smaller number below, which is called the MULTIPLIER.
1    6                            Multiplicand
x    3                            Multiplier
___________
4   8                             Product
__________

Follow this example showing multiplication steps

  1. Multiply the multiplicand by each of the numbers of the multiplier, starting from right to left. Your answers (product) as you multiply are written below the line.
  2. The tens place of each product will be added to the next product as you will see below.

163 x 2 = ?
We start by multiplying 2 x 3 = 6. We write the 6 under the line.
Now, we multiply 2 x 6 = 12. Here, we write the 2 below the line, and we save the 1 from the tens place, and we will add it later to the next multiplication.
Lastly, we multiply 2 x 1 = 2. Not forgetting to add on the 1 that we saved from the last product, so 2 + 1 = 3. Since there is nothing else to multiply, we write the 3 below the line.
The final answer to the multiplication is 163 x 2 = 326.

1    6   3
x         2
___________
3    2   6
__________
That is just the basic way of solving any type of multiplication.
